So much exciting news to share!

I know I have been quiet but I have not been taking it easy!  I have also been traveling like a crazy person!  New York, Texas and Virginia all in less than one month! And if the traveling wasn't enough I taught 30 classes as well and created class kits too!  Phew!  I have a couple of weeks off before I do it again... Michigan, Valley Forge and Charlotte!   

Remember I told you about my kit club changes.. I am now focusing on a special book each month and your kit will include the book of the month and lots and lots of directions, tips and ideas!  A shopping or actually a gathering list is included.  This list sends you into your scrapbook stash and helps you rediscover some long lost treasures that will work great with this project.  It has been incredibly positive and many of you should be receiving your June kit any day now.  But many of you trust me I guess and want to subscribe and get my kit each month...you know sign up for 3 months at a time!  So I am offering that as an option too.    Check it out ... And I guess you like wordbooks as much as I do!  The orders piled up and I have been working with Midnight Oil to improve our turn around time...and we did!  Wait til you see how quickly the little elves can get your custom books in your hot little hands.  Days instead of weeks ...you are gonna love it! As  the TALL Wordbook is the most popluar that is the style that will be availble in the speedy section!   As always instructions are included.  Here comes my speech....I think the "how to" is as important as the stuff.  How many times have you gathered (not purchased gathered) scrapbook supplies only to get home and have no idea where to start?  Not when you get something from me!  And honestly, once you get the instructions you will be able to go off on your own creative path, but will know where to start. The new system will be ready in two weeks and then look out!  We will be able to get your orders out in lightening speed - Well I still might be on an airplane but no more delay from the chipboard :) The 4" books will be on a 3 week delivery scedule. 

Be on the look out for....lots of new ideas for you, such as a taller hybrid and wordbook combos, wordbook kits that are super simple to put together, wordbook with a touch of acrylic and Stick Ons.  Oh you haven't seen those?    Mkae sure you are getting my newsletter.  July is coming soon! 

Thanks Chantilly

I had a great time in Chantilly and met such wonderful ladies and blog friends too!  I loved the Word Book 101 classes ...except that they were at 8 in the morning :) but your books turn out so beautiful. And the themed wordbook and boardbook classes were terrific. 

I went to the Melting Pot restaurant on Friday night and what a treat!  We had so much fun and this was delicious!  We do not have one of these anywhere near me.  I am going to have to learn how to cook with a fondue because I need to share this with my family when I get home.

My sister picked me up after the show closed and I travelled to Newport News to visit with my all grown up nephews. A boat ride on the river and lots of r and r.  I am returning home tomorrow but this has been a great ending to a wonderful weekend,

Getting ready for Chantilly

Phew...a weekend at home!  I love traveling but there are times I enjoy hanging outaround the house!  I am taking a couple of days for the family, the Shih Tzus and me.  We were able to visit the farm yesterday and pick up our veggies. We are members of a cooperative organic farm in Vermont,Might Food Farm,  just a 10 minute drive and we stopped by during the Friday afternoon pickup.  The lettuce and salad greens are wonderful and smell so good as we made a huge Greek salad for dinner. After dinner, a movie a early to bed for a good night's sleep in my own bed.  Yes, I love teaching classes but there is something to be said for sleeping in your own bed.  I took some time this week to add more to my Big Picture Scrapbooking Project Now...I had hoped to have it launched by now but my schedule is too crowded right now.  After Chantilly I am home for a few weeks and BPS is on the top of the list.  Then I can teach classes from my backyard LOL

Tonight I am gathering the final class directions for my classes and packing my suitcases.  I leave early Thursday morning and classes start Friday.  Hugs, Cara

So do I want the 4 inch or the 5.75 inch WORDBOOK?

I have had so many questions about the sizes of the two books and pictures etc.  I decide to show you my CRUISIN book in the tall version.  The benefit to the taller book ...you can use those vertical photos without cutting folks off at the knees!  4x6 works great and no cropping is required.  Here is another fun slide show!

I am finally home ...for a little while at least!

This have been the craziest last three weeks!  First Creating Keepsakes Manchester NH, then Creating Keepsakes Buffalo, NY and this past week Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington Texas!!!! Good golly....my suitcase never cooled off.  I returned from the airport yesterday afternoon and did NOTHING "are you board"!  I was not BOARD at all. :)

I re introduced myself to my husband and my family and I spent the afternoon catching up on the latest events in my kid's lives.  It was wonderful and I am feeling so much better this morning.  I love traveling and meeting all of you but I think next year I will have all of you stop by and visit me ( noooo not really...I would have to clean my scrapbook room !!)

Oh, and guess what... the calendar changed while I was away and it is JUNE!  The June kit offering?  I know you are all wondering what hapened?  Well I am posting today...just as soon as I send the email to all my subscribers.  I promise I will give you all the details later today.  I have lots of things to share and I have a week off before Chantilly...yup one more Great American Scrapbook Convention this month.  .
